The Odin Oracle is a modern divination deck, steeped in the lore but looking to the future.

For centuries, people have called Odin by many names….

Who will you encounter?

Each card in this deck represents one of Odin’s names. The names are organized into nine paths, with each path akin to the suits of playing cards (or Tarot). Each path contains nine steps, from the first exploratory step to the seasoned and confident ninth step. These paths are keyed to nine different aspects of Odin:

  1. Cloaks, the names of deception and trickery

  2. Crossroads, the names of exploration and travel

  3. Crowns, the names of sovereignty and leadership

  4. Fetters, the names of madness and frenzy

  5. Hearths, the names of relationships with others

  6. Ravens, the names of wisdom and counsel

  7. Runes, the names of magic and transmutation

  8. Spears, the names of war and conflict

  9. Wolves, the names of liminality and death

Some names follow no path…

Oðinn is different than Odin.

Woden is not Odin.

And the Allfather exists in all paths.

… These are some of the Major Odins. Thirteen names that either represent Odin through history (Oðinn, Woden, etc) or transcend the idea of a path (Allfather, etc).
